MIKHAIL ARKHIPOV
  • Mikhail was born in Moscow.

  • He graduated with honors from the Russian Gnessin’s Academy of Music (2009), postgraduate studies and internship at the Gnessin’s Academy of Music (2011) (headed by People's Artist of the Russian Federation V.P. Andropov), Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (2014) (class of professor Stanislav Dyachenko).

  • Mikhail is s scholar of the E. Bystritskaya Foundation in the field of musical art (2006).

  • He is a laureate of the competition of conductors with brass bands dedicated to the 860th anniversary of Moscow (Moscow, 2007)

  • He is a laureate of the All-Russian Conducting Competition (Chelyabinsk, 2008)​

  • Mikhail is a member of the Eurasian Council of Composers and Musicians (2021).

  • Since 2021, he has been a member of the Russian Musical Union. Mikhail is a First Degree Laureate of the British GodenTimeTalent Competition (London, Orchestral Conducting nomination).

  • Since 2022, he is members of the International Union of Musical Figures and the Moscow Musical Society.

  • ​He is a participant of the international master class of Vladimir Ponkin (Moscow, 2017), Vladimir Fedoseev (Moscow, 2008), Festivals and competitions of symphonic music named after I. Musin (Kostroma, 2008, 2010, 2016 g.), the International Festival "Prometheus" dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of A. N. Skryabin (Moscow, 2013), the International Festival "Italy: a view from Russia" (Moscow, 2011).

  • Since 2007 he has been a trainee conductor of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia (directed by Vladimir Spivakov).

  • Mikhail was an assistant to the People's Artist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Ponkin at the closing ceremony of the "Golden Mask-2009" festival.

  • He was a lecturer at the Music College of Gnessin’s Academy of Music (2006-2011), head of the course "Conducting: Theory and Practice" at the branch of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (Khanty-Mansiysk, 2014).

  • Mikhail worked as the Chief Conductor of the Yugra Orchestra (Khanty-Mansiysk, 2015) and the chamber theater-museum at the Stanislavsky’s house (2019-2021).

  • He performed with the orchestras of the Vyatka, Kurgan, Kursk, Murmansk, Penza, Smolensk, Syzran, Tambov, Togliatti, Khabarovsk and other philharmonics.

  • He acted as a stage conductor in the Russian-Moldavian premiere of V. Pashkevich's opera "Love Wins (The Miser)" in 2018, within the framework of the Presidential grant, with the support of the Union of Theatric figures.

  • His project for the development of culture of small towns of Russia "One Against Fate" received a great resonance, within the framework of which he will perform with ten orchestras in various cities of Russia in the period from 2018 to 2023.

  • Currently, he conducts tours in the cities of Russia and the CIS.
